The project is led by Danish Refugee Council Italy and implemented in partnership with CSD Diaconia Valdese, DRC BiH, DRC Brussels, DRC Greece, Greek Council for Refugees, Humanitarian Center for Integration and Tolerance (HCIT), Hungarian Helsinki Committee and Macedonian Young Lawyers Association (MYLA).

The project focuses on human rights compliance at the EU’s external borders. In that regard, the project aims to:

  • remedy harmful practices by collecting and documenting rights violations and triggering legal action;
  • highlight accountability issues as well as the need for more space for Independent Border Monitoring mechanisms.
